About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring 40 Security Officers for the JLL account in Nashville. This is a hiring event where candidates can walk in, interview, and potentially leave with an offer. The event is scheduled for Thursday, October 15, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Allied Universal, 22 Century Blvd, Suite 410, Nashville, TN 37214. On-the-spot offers will be made to qualified candidates. Business casual attire is required for the interview. The starting pay is $18.50/hour. All shifts are available, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, as well as weekends. Full-time, part-time, and Flex Officer positions are open.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
• Clean driving record (MVR check) for driving positions

Nice To Haves

• Clean driving record preferred but not required for Flex Security Officer positions

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
