As a Security Officer Screening Agent in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and team members, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to stay visible, provide strong customer service and communication, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders and site policies, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support a professional environment during alarms, access issues, and/or other security-related events.
  • Monitor entry points, credential checks, and visitor processing activities, helping to deter unauthorized access and support orderly movement throughout the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter as directed, and complete logs, incident reports, and other required documentation related to daily security-related activity.
