Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activity, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and professional communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of employees, visitors, and delivery drivers entering and exiting the location, verifying credentials, following post orders, and reporting discrepancies related to shipping, receiving, and restricted areas.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing cargo handling areas, checking doors and gates, and communicating suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
