About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer for a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The officer will help safeguard the site by maintaining a visible presence, conducting patrols, supporting access control and alarm response, and providing customer service. The role includes a scheduled day/evening shift on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Additional shifts may be available through Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
Alarm panel experience.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, incidents, and unusual observations.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following emergency procedures and contacting appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate security observations, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
