Requirements

At least 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid State BSIS California Guard Card.
Strong customer service skills.
Familiarity with report writing.
Computer skills are a must.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Monitoring and surveillance experience.
Essential Computer Competencies.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
Comfortable with Outdoor Environment in Diverse Weather Conditions.
Must successfully pass pre-employment background check.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in security or customer service fields.
Security Guard Experience Preferred, Not Required!

Responsibilities

Remain alert at all times, observe surroundings for suspicious activity, potential threats, or disorderly conduct. Ensure all employees, contractors, and visitors' badges are visible.
Monitor access points, check badges or identification to ensure only authorized individuals enter appropriate buildings. No tailgating is allowed; all individuals must individually swipe access cards.
Control access to a facility through its truck gates. Ensure all vehicles entering or exiting are properly logged, inspected, and authorized, while maintaining compliance with company security policies and safety standards.
In case of emergencies (medical incidents, accidents, fires, etc.), take swift action. Assist with evacuations, provide first aid, or call for help.
Act as a visible deterrent against criminal activity to ensure the safety of others. Conduct patrols on all platforms, parking lots, and other areas to prevent theft, vandalism, or other crimes.
Maintain detailed records of incidents, disturbances, or any unusual occurrences.
Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance and information. Politeness, patience, and clear communication are essential. Provide excellent customer service, which may include giving directions, opening doors, and greeting individuals.
