Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, screen people and/or materials, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. This is a driving post. You will remain visible, conduct routine activity throughout assigned areas, and deliver strong customer service while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven values through teamwork.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen individuals, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering or leaving designated areas in accordance with post instructions and facility protocols, helping to identify unauthorized items or unusual activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, shipments, and/or visitor information, and document screening results, incidents, and irregularities in required logs and reports.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around screening checkpoints, loading and unloading areas, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
