Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting designated areas in accordance with site protocols and documented post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, directing foot traffic, and documenting screening-related activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around screening stations, loading areas, and the perimeter as assigned, noting conditions that may require security-related follow-up.
