About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Mobile Site Patrol Driver in San Diego, California, to support a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The role involves unarmed mobile patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding to security concerns, and providing customer service and communication. The driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the pay rate is $26.00 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, notifying site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence.
