About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer to support a government facility in Del Valle, Texas. The role involves providing customer service, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, supporting access control and routine site operations, and helping deter and report security-related incidents. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal policy. The posted schedule is 10:00 PM–6:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while following site procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, identifying and reporting unusual conditions or activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site procedures and applicable government facility requirements.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
