Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Government Facility
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol driver to serve at a government facility in Pflugerville, Texas. The officer will safeguard the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access control. The role involves providing professional customer service to visitors, employees, and the public, responding to security situations, and documenting observations using technology. The work schedule is Monday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and Friday and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, plus Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver's license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location.
- Report suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site protocols.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
