About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to serve and safeguard a government facility in Del Valle, Texas. This is an unarmed patrol and driving position. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, supports access control, and provides customer service. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position. The listed pay rate is $22.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing may be required prior to employment depending on state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
- Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating matters according to established procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate locations.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.
