About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Amarillo, Texas. The role provides a reliable assigned site and weekly anchor shift, with a six-month commitment, while allowing the employee to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Employees may work variable part-time hours and can build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The listed pay rate is $15.33 per hour, with weekly pay. The scheduled shift is Saturday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The officer provides customer service and carries out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Duties include monitoring access and vehicle activity, patrolling facility areas, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting observations and activities.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, vehicle entry and exit activity, shipping areas, and trailer parking areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading docks, yard, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and access activity through required reports or electronic systems.
