About The Position

Titan Security is hiring a Security Officer to work at a location in Dearborn, Michigan. The role supports site security through patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, entry and exit checks, visitor and vehicle logging, threat observation, and incident reporting. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license.
High school diploma or GED.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Previous security experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Periodically stop and patrol different areas of the lot to maintain visibility and deter criminal activity.
Verify that individuals entering the facility have proper identification and access passes, such as badges, cards, or visitor passes.
Continuously monitor CCTV cameras around the gate area for suspicious activity, unauthorized entry, or security breaches.
Check identification, vehicle registration, or other access-control credentials to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles enter or exit the lot.
Maintain detailed logs of people or trucks entering and leaving, including company name, driver name, truck ID number, cargo type, and delivery or pickup details.
Watch for suspicious behavior, loitering, and signs of illegal activity such as theft, vandalism, or drug use.
Promptly report security breaches, safety hazards, or emergencies to appropriate authorities or management, and thoroughly document incidents.
