As a Security Officer Driver Unarmed Patrol Route in Hazelwood, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech/media/telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor entry procedures while following post orders and location guidelines.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols.
