About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Conflict Deescalation to support a financial institution in Port Isabel, Texas. The officer will safeguard the client by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. The role involves professional communication with employees, visitors, and other stakeholders, responding to concerns, and supporting daily operations. The scheduled shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Pay is $13.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and in a problem-solving manner, following established financial institution protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific requirements, maintaining accurate logs and documentation as required.
Communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
