As a Screener at a residential location, you will help manage access by verifying visitors, monitoring entry activity, and communicating professionally with residents, guests, and staff. You will use computer or tablet systems to support access control, maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents, and may drive as part of assigned duties. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a residential community.
  • Screen and verify authorized entry of visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with community access procedures.
  • Monitor access points, maintain visitor and vehicle records, and communicate relevant activity to site management and/or designated personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.
