As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Plainview, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, greet residents and visitors, and maintain clear communication with the community. You will help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, accurate documentation, and responsive customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, document visitor entry and exit activity, and assist with directing guests, deliveries, and contractors according to location procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and access-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and location requirements.
