As a Security Officer Visitor Screening in Neptune, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will serve as a welcoming, highly visible presence for employees and visitors. You will manage access, monitor entry activity, communicate professionally, and help address security-related concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
  • Serve as the front desk point of contact, greet and direct visitors, verify access authorization, and maintain visitor logs and/or sign-in records.
  • Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity or access concerns promptly.
  • Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Assist with maintaining a professional, orderly reception area and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
