About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer in San Marcos, Texas. The role involves patrolling sensitive environments, observing and anticipating risks, controlling access to secure areas, and responding to threats, incidents, and alarms. The officer is expected to remain physically active throughout the shift, communicate effectively, document incidents, provide excellent customer service, and collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.

The position is full-time, with a set schedule of Friday through Tuesday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. The hourly wage is $21.00. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be at least 21 years old, as required by applicable law or contractual requirement.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Have a Texas Security License or be able to obtain one.
• Have a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification is an asset.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
