About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced EMT Triage Driver for an assigned site in Reading, Pennsylvania, at a pay rate of $25.10 per hour. The position has a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. Employees may build up to 40 hours per week and can scale back when needed.

The scheduled shift is Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The role includes security procedures, customer service, patrols, and emergency response activities. A valid EMT certification and a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements are required; a state-issued license for the job location is also specified. Applicants must submit copies of their driver’s license and EMT certification during the application or pre-employment process.

Requirements

• Valid EMT certification; a copy must be submitted as part of pre-employment documentation.
• Valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a copy must be provided during application.
• Valid driver’s license issued in the state where the job is located.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
