About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for a retail store lobby. The role serves and safeguards clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, following site-specific policies, and taking part in emergency response activities when appropriate. Officers respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach, and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The posting identifies the position as temporary and full time, with pay of $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
