About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Hebron, Kentucky. The officer will safeguard the site, provide customer service to employees and visitors, and help maintain a welcoming and secure environment. The role includes routine patrols, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents, alarms, and access concerns, and documenting daily activity and incidents. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.25 per hour, paid weekly. Applicants must meet applicable age and education requirements and are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, building perimeter, and other assigned areas.
Identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and authorized entry procedures.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
Communicate clearly with site personnel and assist with security-related questions, directions, and requests.
