About The Position

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in New York, NY, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. The role is part-time and scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property.
Document incidents, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Communicate with property management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership about incidents, observations, and follow-up actions.
