About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Lebanon, Tennessee, you will safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor and vehicle activity, and help create a welcoming environment for employees, drivers, and guests. The role involves clear communication, accurate recordkeeping, a professional presence, and teamwork to help deter incidents. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 4:00 AM–4:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.33 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access and visitor records according to site procedures.
Control entry and exit of vehicles, personnel, and deliveries as assigned, helping deter unauthorized access to the facility, warehouse, yard, and perimeter areas.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and document activities in required reports.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations, and report security-related concerns and unusual activity.
