About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for access verification at a residential community in Boynton Beach, Florida. The officer will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide welcoming customer service to residents and visitors. The role uses technology to document security-related information and communicate professionally while helping maintain an orderly environment. The listed schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the residential community by verifying visitor, vendor, and delivery credentials, maintaining entry records, and communicating access information to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity or property concerns.
• Document daily activities, access-related events, and incidents in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.
