As a Security Officer Clinical Patrol Driver in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal officer in a healthcare location, you will patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
  • Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include a morgue.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment, as required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, direction, and/or entry procedures in accordance with location protocols.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports and share relevant information with site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
