Requirements

  • Hospital vaccine requirements must be met.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with staff and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions requiring attention.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, assist with visitor directions, and report security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Support a professional environment by assisting with de-escalation, providing courteous guidance, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
