About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer Screener in New Stanton, Pennsylvania, you will help maintain a secure environment at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor access points, screen personnel and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns while providing customer service and communicating clearly. The role calls for a professional presence to help deter incidents. The listed schedule is Wednesday and Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Loss Prevention experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery personnel, and contractors by following site-specific access screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Screen individuals and permitted items entering the location according to established procedures, and escalate prohibited or suspicious items or activity to appropriate personnel.
Verify identification, access credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before permitting entry to restricted areas.
Operate screening equipment and monitor access points to help deter unauthorized entry and support a controlled workplace environment.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as needed.
