About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Lebanon, Tennessee. The officer will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor and vehicle activity, maintain access records, and provide a professional, welcoming presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role offers access to a shift-claiming platform and opportunities to explore additional roles. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:00 PM to 3:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.33 per hour. Duties include customer service, access control, vehicle activity observation, incident response, and patrols.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21 years old or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
Observe inbound and outbound vehicle activity, coordinate with site personnel regarding deliveries and pickups, and report irregularities or unauthorized access attempts.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, follow site-specific protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
