About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Security Officer on mobile patrol at a logistics and distribution location in Titusville, Florida, you will help safeguard clients and support site security procedures. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication while collaborating with a team. The position is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and pays $17.50 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
A guard card or license.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, visitor and contractor activity, shipping and receiving areas, and vehicle traffic according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility and warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and access-control records, and communicate professionally with site personnel and the public.
