About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed driving Security Officer for a healthcare location in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role serves and safeguards clients, patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a welcoming environment. The officer provides customer service, responds to security-related concerns, and follows site-specific procedures and emergency protocols. The position pays $20.00 per hour and is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, follow established protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols throughout facility interiors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor entrances, verify authorized access when required, and provide directions or assistance to visitors.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly according to site-specific reporting procedures.
