About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Security Officer serving a residential community in Westlake Village, California, you will help safeguard residents, guests, visitors, and the client. You will maintain a visible security presence, conduct patrols, support access control, respond to concerns, document observations, and provide professional customer service. The position works overnight hours on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors while carrying out security procedures, community policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter, and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity according to site-specific procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations; escalate issues to appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in required reports and logs.
