About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to support a fast-paced logistics and distribution location in Fontana, California. The officer helps safeguard the site by conducting routine and random patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring assigned areas and access points, and reporting security concerns. The role calls for customer service, clear communication, integrity, reliability, and collaboration with site personnel.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations according to site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain accurate activity, visitor, and incident documentation.
Observe site operations and promptly report suspicious activity, damaged property, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
