Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to the appropriate personnel in accordance with site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public access areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify permitted entry when required, and document security-related concerns, hazards, and unusual activity.
Support public-facing operations by offering directions, answering general questions, and assisting with orderly movement of people during routine operations and/or emergency situations.
