Requirements

• 21 + Years of Age
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Must also have the ability to pass a federal background check for DOT
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• This is a primarily driving post.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report relevant activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points, restricted areas, and vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic patterns, and communicate observed issues with supervisors and appropriate personnel.
• Assist with crowd management, directional support, and general public assistance while maintaining awareness of security-related conditions across the location.
