Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points, report suspicious behavior and/or potential hazards, and document observations according to site protocols.
• Support crowd management, visitor assistance, and directional guidance for the public while following post orders and reporting procedures.
