About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the property by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and/or vendors, and challenging unauthorized individuals in accordance with site policies.
• Support security-related operations at a commercial real estate location by observing ongoing work areas, noting hazards or maintenance issues, and communicating relevant information through required reports and logs.
