About The Position

As a Security Officer Badge Systems Driver in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional in a utilities location, you will help support a welcoming, controlled environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and documenting activity. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and personnel, and help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility customers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and visitor or contractor documentation before permitting entry to restricted utility facilities.
  • Maintain accurate access control records, issue and collect visitor badges or credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or credential discrepancies.
  • Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
