About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer for a surveillance role at a site in Syracuse, New York. The officer monitors security systems and screens for suspicious activity, responds to incidents and potential threats, and helps protect people and property. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record. The position offers three listed schedule options: Tuesday to Saturday, 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.; Thursday to Monday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.; or Sunday and Monday, 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., and Tuesday and Wednesday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The hourly wage is $20. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
• Hold a state license if required.
