As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Checkpoint in Dundalk, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of port facilities, waterfront areas, parking locations, gates, buildings, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and credential requirements, assist with visitor and vehicle entry procedures, and report unauthorized access concerns according to site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and location requirements.
