About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver Overnights in Amana, Iowa, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will help manage entry and exit activity, monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post also involves providing customer service and communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

The position is full-time and pays $20.16 per hour. The overnight schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Customer service experience.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the facility, communicate visitor requirements, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
