About The Position
Seeking a Security Officer for Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care in Sellersburg, IN. This full-time position involves protecting life and property on hospital premises, patrolling buildings and grounds to prevent incidents, and responding to security needs of staff, patients, and visitors. The role also includes participation in performance improvement activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year minimum experience in security, law enforcement, or IAHSS basic training certificate
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training
Responsibilities
- Protects life and property of all persons on Baptist Health Floyd premises.
- Patrols hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism.
- Secures, unlocks, and protects hospital buildings.
- Responds to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors.
- Participates in performance improvement activities.
