About The Position
Seeking Paramedic! PRN, Days. Baptist Health ER & Urgent Care Sellersburg. In this role, the Paramedic administers direct care to the patient of all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics under the direction of an emergency medical physician, emergency physician’s assistant, emergency advanced registered nurse practitioner or a professional registered nurse. Ensures adherence to hospital and department policies as well as paramedic scope of practice.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- State certified EMT-P course completion
- State of Indiana EMT-P License
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Other certifications and specialty training as required by the Indiana Board of EMS
Nice To Haves
- PALS required within 12 months of hire.
- ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
- NRP Certification required within 6 months of hire
- At least two (2) years previous experience preferred
