About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Battleboro, North Carolina. The officer will serve and safeguard clients while helping maintain a welcoming environment through customer service, clear communication, and security support. The role involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, supporting access control and alarm response, and following site-specific procedures and security policies. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, if required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following emergency response procedures.
Report maintenance concerns, hazards, policy violations, and security-related incidents to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
