As a Security Officer Patrol Tablet Operations in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while responding to concerns with integrity and professionalism. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A Guard Card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, observe campus activity, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized persons according to established procedures.
Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate school personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain communication with site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
