As a Security Officer Patrol Reporting in Lebanon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to routine site needs. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
  • Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols of the business, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and maintaining professional communications with authorized personnel.
  • Support a professional environment by following Allied Universal and site-specific post orders, maintaining awareness of changing conditions, and escalating concerns through established channels.
