About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while responding professionally to evolving situations. Requirements

  • Be willing to comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be willing to work in a hospital morgue environment.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding property to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access as directed, and providing directions or assistance to patients and visitors.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
