As a Security Officer Full Time Route Driver in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation at Allied Universal.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, donors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
