As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Saint Pauls, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, manage access control and badge activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
  • Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter disruptions to operations.
  • Support shipping, receiving, and visitor management activities by maintaining access records, communicating post instructions, and following site protocols for deliveries and/or contractor access.
