As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel and resort setting.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, guest-access areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor and vendor entry procedures, and help to address unauthorized access, disturbances, and/or policy violations in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support hospitality operations by providing directions, answering general questions, and documenting security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity observed during patrols.
